Hevel launches 30 MW solar power plant in Astrakhan Region
MOSCOW, Dec 3 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Hevel Group has launched a 30-megawatt (MW) solar power plant in the Limnasky District of the Astrakhan Region, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
The plant started producing power on December 1. The combined annual design power production of the plant is 35 million kilowatt-hours (kWh), which would helps us avoid production of 18,500 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions and save 4.7 million cubic meters of natural gas, the company said.
Previously, the company build and launched a 15-MW Niva solar power plant in the region, as well as 60-MW plants Funtovo and Akhtubinsk.
